  1. Hi there!

You may have seen a couple of emails come through your inbox about listing your business in the Magic Beans Resource Guide that we will be publishing for Southern CT, and I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you personally! As a new moms group educator in Boston I am well aware that sleep is the Holy Grail of parenting, and for this reason we would love for more families to find you and the support you offer by listing in our guide!

I realize, too, that you may not have heard of Magic Beans before! We are family-owned gear and toy retailer based out of Boston with 6 locations, and we just opened a location in Fairfield in December. Community engagement, connection, and cooperation is very important to us, and we work hard to enhance our community with the common goal of supporting families prenatal-age 3. A few months ago in Boston we created our very first resource guide and it was met with HUGE success! We are already in our second printing because these free family resource guides are flying off the shelves both in our stores and in other locations that serve young families throughout the area. If you want to take a look at our Boston guide to get a sense of what we created, you can check it out here. We also gave out our Boston guide at our 4th annual Drool Baby Expo, which will be coming to your area in October!

We are now working with a new local printer for our Fairfield County Resource Guide, so we have a tiny bit more time before our submission deadline, and we would LOVE to have you included. A basic listing is FREE, and if you’d like you can purchase additional listings or an upgraded listing. You can learn more about the listings available on the attached document, and you can submit your listing with our Resource Guide Intake Form: https://magicbeans.wufoo.com/forms/mqzjhqp1rlqo9t/

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, and if you have any submission questions you can send an email to babyguide@mbeans.com.

    I hope you participate!

    Best,

    Katherin

  2. Hi Ingrid,

My name is Valerie Chatfield and I’m the owner of Baby Dreamtime, a new online store that is distributing the Bamboo Bubby Baby Bags from Australia. These sleep garments were designed to help children with eczema stop scratching at night and get a better sleep while allowing their delicate skin to heal. Made of a bamboo and organic cotton blend, the super soft material and cozy design has been found to help babies sleep better by keeping their temperature regulated at night, preventing them from scratching, thumb sucking and hair pulling and mimicking swaddling, but without worry of being able to unswaddle themselves. The one size fits 6 months to 2T+ provides extra value for parents. I believe this would be a great fit with some of your parents and would love to work together and have you do a guest post on baby sleep. Thanks in advance and I wish you all the best!

    Cheers,
    Valerie Chatfield

My granddaughter sleeps with her parents sometimes we get her to sleep and put her in the pack n play but when she wakes in the middle of the night she climbs out and gets in bed with her parents. She usually has to be right up against you to even fall asleep. One time I have gotten her to fall asleep in the crib it took over 15 minutes she cried off and on and finally layed down and was out like a light. Would love some advice on how to get her to sleep through the night and how to get her out of her parents bed and to self sooth to sleep.
